The ignition key must be set to position '0' and removed from the ignition switch before any connector for the SRS system is unplugged. Then wait at least one minute. Disconnect the negative lead of the battery before unplugging any of the connectors. After work is complete, turn the ignition key to position 'II' before reconnecting the negative lead of the battery.
