TV/DVD (1999, 2000)

• Turn the ignition key to position 0. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.

Примечание: Wait at least five minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.

• Remove the seat cushion (1). First lift the front edge of the cushion and then pull forwards.

• Remove the seat belt from the guide (1) on both the right and left-hand sides
• Insert your hand down the side of the lower section of the left-hand side side cushion. Release the catch. Remove the side cushion
• Fold both rear backrests forward.

• Carefully lift the front edge of the parcel shelf panel until the clips (1) release
• Pull out the parcel shelf. Lay the parcel shelf on the folded backrests.

• Remove the panel (1) from both the C and D-posts. First remove the moulding (2) in the door openings by the panels
• Pull the lower edge of the panel out until the clips (3) release
• Pull the panel out further so that the clips (4) release
• Pull the panel forwards so that the panel completely releases.

• Remove the cargo compartment carpet (1)
• Turn the knob (2) a quarter turn
• Remove the side panel (3) by releasing the clips on the underside and bending the panel outward
• Remove the panel (4). First remove the two clips in the rear edge of the panel. Then remove the two clips in the front edge of the panel by the backrest.

• Remove the wiring and the aerial amplifier (1) above the left-hand rear side window
• Remove the ground lead above the right-hand rear side window
• Install both the TV-aerial amplifiers above the rear side windows.FM/AM/TV- the aerial amplifier (1) on the left-hand side, and the TV-aerial amplifier (2) on the right-hand side
• Insert the aerial amplifier hooks in the relevant guide holes. Press backwards
• Tighten the aerial amplifier using the screws from the kit.

Applies to the TV, Europe and Japan

• Place the wiring (1) from the aerial amplifier on the parcel shelf
• Push the cable end (2) with the connectors down as illustrated. Insert the wiring through the existing hole in the rear crossmember to the left-hand wheel arch (3).

• Connect the wiring to the left (1) and right-hand (2) aerial amplifiers
• Secure the wiring using tie straps from the kit at the arrows as illustrated.

• Remove the DVD reader and bracket from the car body by slackening off the four screws
• If necessary, cut off the tie straps for the wiring to move the unit.

• Screw the TV receiver on the bracket using the three screws from the kit.

• Screw the DVD reader and the TV receiver with the bracket on the car body
• Tighten to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf.ft.).

• Connect the DIN-cable (1) and the cable with the green connectors (2) from the kit between the DVD reader and the TV receiver. Connect the DIN-cable to the left-hand socket for the TV-tuner
• Connect the two connectors (3) from the aerail amplifier at the C-posts to the TV receiver
• Secure the wiring at the DVD reader/TV receiver using a tie strap from the kit.

Reinstall:

• the parcel shelf panel
• the panels on the C and D posts
• the left-hand side cushion
• the seat belts in the guides
• the backrests
• the seat cushion and the cargo compartment panels
• the cargo compartment carpet.

• Turn the ignition key to position II
• Reconnect the battery negative lead
• Program the software according to the service information in VIDA.
