Treble loudspeakers

• Turn the ignition switch to position 0.
• Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
• Disconnect the negative lead from the battery.

Примечание: Wait at least five minutes before disconnecting the connector or disconnecting other electrical equipment.

• Remove the small internal panel from the door handle. Carefully prize it away using a weatherstrip tool, opposite the three catches in the joint underneath.

• Detach the door handle's panel with the door module.
• Carefully prize it away all around using a weatherstrip tool and pull it up. It is secured with six catches in the door panel.

• Remove the connector from the door module.

• Remove the three screws holding the door panel to the side of the door.

• Remove the small panel at the front edge/top edge of the door. Carefully prize it away using a weatherstrip tool, opposite the three clips.

Примечание: The panel is fitted securely, be careful with the surrounding parts.
- Place the panel to one side, the new panel with loudspeaker grille is in the kit.

• Detach the door panel from the side of the door by carefully prizing it away opposite the nine clips at the sides and furthest down using a weatherstrip tool.

- Detach the panel at the top edge until the five clips release. Press the two catches together (see inset illustration) which hold the treble loudspeaker's bracket to the side of the door, so that the door panel detaches there.
- Unhook the door panel from the lock button.

• Detach the connector (1) to the treble loudspeaker's cable, if fitted to the car.
• Detach the connector (2) to the door opener.
• Detach the sleeve with cable (3) from the door opener.
• Remove the door panel.

• Place the door panel on a suitable surface so that it cannot be damaged.
• Take the new treble loudspeaker with cable harness and insert the cable harness in the front edge of the hole in the treble loudspeaker's bracket. Space is limited in the hole but the connector fits exactly. Pull the connector on the inside of the door panel so that it appears between the door panel and the air duct.
• Align the treble loudspeaker in the hole and press it in. Make sure that all catches have engaged.
• Route the cable harness from the rear side of the air duct. The connector is connected to the routed connector at position (1) in connection with reinstalling the door panel.

• Check that the nine clips are in the open position and that they are intact, replace if necessary.
• Connect the connector to the door opener.
• Connect the connector to the treble loudspeaker.
• Reinstall the cable with sleeve to the door opener.
• Press in the door panel and tighten it with the three screws.
• Connect the connector to the door module. Press in the panel with door module in the door panel. Make sure that all catches have engaged.
• Reinstall the small panel in the door handle panel.
• Install the new loudspeaker grille from the kit in the front edge/top edge of the door.
• Repeat steps 2-8 for the other side.

• Remove the small internal panel from the door handle. Carefully prize it away using a weatherstrip tool, opposite the three catches in the joint underneath.

• Detach the door handle's panel with the door module. Carefully prize it away all around using a weatherstrip tool and pull it up. It is secured with five catches in the door panel.

• Detach the connector on the underside of the door module.

• Remove the two screws holding the door panel to the side of the door.
• Detach the door panel from the side of the door by carefully prizing it away opposite the eight clips at the sides and furthest down using a weatherstrip tool. Detach the door panel at the top edge until the four clips release.
• Unhook the door panel from the lock button.

• Detach the connector (1) on the holder for the treble loudspeaker.
• Detach the sleeve with cable (2) from the door opener.
• Place the door panel to one side.

Illustration B

• Place the door panel on a suitable surface so that it cannot be damaged.
• Remove the holder (1) for the treble loudspeaker in front of the door opener, by carefully prizing it away with a small screwdriver. It is secured with five catches all around (see inset illustration).
• Place the holder to one side, the holder with treble loudspeaker is in the kit.
• Press in the new treble loudspeaker with holder in the same place. Make sure that all catches have engaged. The connector (2) is connected to the treble loudspeaker in connection with reinstalling the door panel.

• Check that the eight clips are in the open position and that they are intact, replace if necessary.
• Connect the connector to the treble loudspeaker.
• Reinstall the cable with sleeve to the door opener.
• Guide up the door module connector through the hole in the door panel.
• Press in the door panel and tighten it with the two screws.
• Connect the connector to the door module. Press in the panel with door module in the door panel. Make sure that all catches have engaged.
• Reinstall the small panel in the door handle panel.
• Repeat steps 9-13 for the other side.

• Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to position II.
• Reconnect the battery negative lead.
