Tracker, Volvo On Call (2005, 2006)

• Turn the ignition switch to position 0.
• Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Applies to cars with automatic gearbox

• Turn the ignition key to position II.

Applies to all models

• Move the gear selector lever to its rearmost position.
• Carefully prize away the gear lever panel at the rear edge using a weatherstrip tool.

• Press in the catches and remove the panel.

• Remove the left and right-hand side panels from the tunnel console. Pull them away at the front edge and continue backwards until all clips have released.

• Pull the handle, move the tunnel compartment backward and lift it away.

• Remove the cover.

• Remove the screws and unplug the connectors.
• Lift away the tunnel console.

• Remove the two screws holding the centre console to the climate control panel and the control module.
• Pull out the centre console at the lower edge and pull it away from the top edge.
• Unplug the connectors from the climate control panel and the control module.

Примечание: Do not damage the gear lever knob.

• Unplug the four connectors from the phone module (PHM). The larger connector has its catch underneath.

• Remove the screws.

• Place the cables and connectors beside the control module. Remove the control module by moving it forward until the guide pins release.

• Remove the four screws. Allow the console to remain.

Примечание: The console has different appearances depending on model year.

• Install the protective metal cover from the kit. It must be located on the outside of the existing console.

• Install the screw from the kit and tighten it three turns.
• Reinstall the four screws.
• Tighten all screws.

Reinstall:

• the control module with console

Примечание: The protruding section of the console for the control module must be located above the existing console.
- the screws
- the connectors.

• Remove the existing screw clips.
• Install the new larger screw clips. Centre them against the existing holes.

Reinstall:

• the tunnel console with screws and connectors
• the side panels.

• Reinstall the centre console by first hooking it in at the top edge and pressing it up, and then angling in the lower section.

• Install the protective metal cover with the shear screw.

Примечание: The bend on the upper section must point inward.
- Tighten the screws until the top is broken off.
- Reinstall the gear lever panel.

• Turn the ignition key to position II.
• Reconnect the battery negative lead.
• Download the software for the accessory's function following the service information in VIDA.
