Towbar, hitch, ski carrier

• Install the ski holder in the base unit's square pipe.
• Tighten in the ski holder using the two screws, the spring washers and the flat washers from the base unit kit.

• Turn the locking wheel anticlockwise.

• Undo the ski holder's attaching brace by folding the locking wheel out from the brace.

• Guide the skis or snowboard down into the lower holder.
• Hold them in against the upper holder's rear section.
• Tension them in against the rear section using the rubber strap, (Illustration D), in order that they shall be held in place while more skis/snowboards are installed in the holder as well as when the attaching brace is closed.

• Fold back the attaching brace and the locking wheel.

• Tighten the locking wheel.

Осторожно: Check that the load on the ski holder is well-tensioned so that there is no risk of it falling off. In addition, check periodically during the journey. The load must not obscure the number plate or lighting. Retighten all screws, nuts and locking wheels regularly to avoid the risk that any part of the accessory or load may fall off.

The ski holder must not be used when driving over terrain.

Damaged tensioning straps and mounting straps must be replaced with new ones.

Do not allow the load to shift outside of the ski holder.

Remember not to load too heavily and that the car's centre of gravity can be changed by carrying a hitch unit load.

If the car's number plate could be obscured by a loaded ski holder there is an extra number plate holder with lighting that is available as an accessory and which should then be used.
