- Remove the exhaust pipe's rubber mounting. It will not be reused.

- Measure the distance as illustrated.
- Cut off the pipe using a pipe cutter.
- Discard the cut off section.
- Remove the cover from the left-hand side of the lower part of the bumper cover by sliding it forwards. It is secured by a hook at the top edge/rear edge.The cover will not be reused.

- Install a new rubber mounting and hook the tail pipe into the rubber mounting.
- Turn the clamp to the position displayed.
- Adjust the tail pipe so that the upper side of the rear edge stops 14 mm (35/64") in front of the rear edge of the cut-out in the lower part of the bumper cover.

- Check that the lateral distance is as large.
- Tighten the clamp (Illustration A).

- In cases where there tail pipe cannot be adjusted laterally, the screws for the rubber mounting's bracket can be slackened off. Then adjust the position of the tail pipe and tighten the screws again.
