Sunglasses holder (2000, 2001)

Applies to the S40 (04-) / V50

• Hold the grab handle down where the sunglasses holder will be positioned. The sun glasses holder can be used in all the four locations for the grab handle
• Carefully pry up the two covers on the mounting sections of the handle. Use a flat screwdriver
• Remove the two screws under the covers. Place the screws to one side. New screws are supplied in the kit
• Carefully pull the grab handle off the body and headlining (some force is required).

Applies to the V70 / S60

• Carefully pry up the upper edge of the cover, where the sunglasses holder is to be positioned. Use a plastic weatherstrip tool.

Примечание: The sunglasses holder can only be installed in the two front seat positions for the grab handle in the V70, but in all four positions in the S60
- Remove the two screws under the cover. Place the screws to one side. The screws will be reused later
- Remove the rubber strip in the upper edge of the door opening
- Carefully bend down the outer edge of the headlining to access the catches at the lower edge of the internal handle
- Press in the catches and twist off the handle into the car.

Примечание: Do not damage the inflatable curtain.

• Open the sunglasses holder. Hold the sprung cover down
• Position the sunglasses holder where the grab handle was previously located. Tighten the sunglasses holder to the body and headlining. New screws from the kit are used for S40/V50 models. The previously removed screws are used for V70/S60 models
• Tighten the screws. Tighten to 8 ± 2 Nm (6 ± 1.5 lbf. ft.)
• Remove the backing from both ends of the lining in the sunglasses case
• Press the tape at the ends of the lining against the bottom of the sunglasses case.

• Open the sunglasses holder and hold the cover down
• Place the glasses in the cover of the case and release. The cover will then spring back against the upper section of the sunglasses holder.
