Practice installing the snow chains at home before travelling in winter.

• Lift up the chain with both ends in one hand. Turn the flat side of the tensioner towards your body.

- Sort out the chains so that they are all hanging on the same side of the cable. Hold the ends of the cable in one hand with the part of the tensioner with holes to the right. Sort out the chains using the other hand
- Face the tyre on which the chain is to be installed
- Lay the chain in front of or behind the tyre with the part of the tensioner with holes to the right. Slide the cable and chain along the ground behind the tyre until you can reach it from the other side. The chains must lie between the tyre and the cable.

• Lift both halves of the tensioner up the back of the tyre. Fix them together on top of the tyre. The halves of the tensioner need to be twisted/angled towards each other so that the locking button engages with the groove on the other half of the tensioner.

• Pull the chains on both sides of the tensioner forward. Engage the red hook with the blue link
• Adjust the cable and chains on the inside of the tyre so that they are positioned around the widest section of the tyre. See illustration B
• Pull and adjust the chains around the tyre. Ensure that the cable is positioned correctly on the inside of the tyre.

• Hook the chain using the rubber tensioner in the yellow tensioner down to the outside of the tyre. Tighten the chain as much as possible
• Then thread through the yellow eyelet.

• Wind the excess chain around the blue chain as illustrated
• Finally lock the chain using the black rubber tensioner
• Drive a short distance. Then re-tighten the chain

Примечание: Extremely important.

Осторожно: Always check the chains before each use. The chains may be used as long as none of the links drops below 50% of the original thickness on one side. If any part of the chains has worn down to a thickness below 50% or has broken, the chains must not be used. The chains must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If a link breaks, the chain must be removed immediately to prevent damage to the car.

Chains may only be repaired by the manufacturer, as the warranty will otherwise cease to be valid.
