Single end pipe, right-hand

• Measure a distance of 225 mm (8 7/8") from the right-hand end face of the silencer and along the outer bend radius of the end pipe (where the pipe begins to be straight).
• Cut off the pipe using a pipe cutter.
• Discard the cut off section.

• Remove the cover panel on the right-hand side of the lower section of the bumper cover by pushing it forwards. It is fitted with a catch in the upper edge/rear edge. It shall not be re-used.

• Turn the end-pipe to the position displayed.
• Adjust the tail pipe so that the upper side of the rear edge stops 14 mm (35/64") in front of the rear edge of the cut-out in the lower part of the bumper cover.

• Check that the lateral distance is as large.

• The position in the cut-out on the lower section of the bumper cover can be adjusted using the three screws in the end-pipe and with the screws in the two rear exhaust mountings.
• Tighten the end-pipe.
• Torque tighten the screws in the exhaust mountings if they were loosened, to 25 Nm (18.5 lbf.ft.).
