Осторожно: When transferring the transmission control module (TCM) between different cars be sure to make a note ofany diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and the status of counters and frozen valuesbefore removing the transmission control module (TCM) from the car.
Turn off the ignition before removing the transmission control module (TCM) from the car.
Примечание: Always check that the transmission control module (TCM) and cable harness connector pins and sockets are undamaged and that these cannot be pressed out of their catches. Damaged or loose pins or sockets may have caused the fault.
Removing the control module

Ignition offRemove:
- Center console locker or big front radio
- Ashtray holder (two screws)
- Right side panel
- Remove transmission control module (TCM) from bracket
- Disconnect control module connector
- Remove control module.
Installing control module

Check that none of the pins or sockets on the connector are damaged.
- Install the new control module
- Ignition on
- Read off and erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
- Reinstall panels, center console locker etc.
Adapting the throttle position (TP) signal

The throttle position (TP) sensor signal must be adapted whenever a control module is replaced. Proceed as follows:
- Ignition on
- Fully depress the accelerator pedal (AP) so that the kickdown switch (KD) is activated
- Keep the accelerator pedal (AP) floored for 5 seconds
- Release accelerator pedal (AP)
The throttle position (TP) sensor signal is now adapted.
