Rear spoiler (1)

• Rub down (wet and dry 1000).
• Degrease.

Metallic

• A. Base coat:
• B. Clear coat:

Mono

• Polyurethane, 2 components
• Coat thickness 10-15 µm
• Evaporation time 10 minutes
• Drying time/temp. 60 minutes max 60°C (140°F)

• Remove the plugs (4x).
• Apply tape over the holes in the boot lid.
• Cut out the drilling template. (See the last page of this instruction.)

Примечание: Check the accuracy of the scales on the template.

• Use a cloth on both sides to protect the paint from metal chips.
• Position the drilling template on the left and right side and center the holes (4x).

• Lubricate drill sites with a little grease.
• Drill 1x Ø 6.5 mm (1/4”) hole on the left front. Drill 3x Ø 8 mm (5/16”) holes at the other positions. (Use a drill stop 20 mm (50/64”).)

• Check alignment.
• Clean the boot lid very carefully.
• Treat with rust-proofing agent.
• Degrease the surface where the spoiler will be located.

• Degrease the spoiler feet.
• Apply the double-sided tape onto the spoiler feet as illustrated.

• Remove the protective film.
• Position the spoiler on the boot lid so that (A) is the same on the right and left side.
• Install the spoiler (4x nuts) to 5 Nm (3.6 ft.lbf). (Take care that the nuts do not fall into the boot lid.)
• Reinstall the plugs (4x).
