Rear door bass speakers (1999, 2000)

Preparations

• Remove the clips (1) by pressing in the centre of the clips.
• Remove the blind cover plug (2) and the screw from under the blind cover plug
• Disconnect the door panel by sliding the panel upwards and unhooking the top edge.

Preparations

• Remove the connector (1) for the door controls
• Remove the wire (2) from the door opener (3). First bend up the catches
• Remove the panel
• Carefully remove the moisture inhibitor (4) at the front edge
• Remove the moisture inhibitor (5) covering the existing loudspeaker hole.

Installation

• Install the new loudspeaker. Screw the loudspeaker into place using the screws (1) and nuts (1) from the kit
• Install the moisture inhibitor (2)
• Connect the connectors (3) to the loudspeaker and the module for the door controls
• Connect the cable (4) to the door opener (5)
• Reinstall the door panel, according to ru-RU0900c8af80ffdccf#KC01245863.

Preparations

• Carefully remove the frame (3) from around the door handle. Use a plastic wedge or similar. Start at the bottom edge
• Disconnect the door panel (4) by sliding the panel upwards and unhooking the top edge.

Preparations

• Disconnect the connectors (1) for the door controls and from the existing loudspeaker
• Carefully remove the moisture inhibitor (2) at the front edge.

Applies to loudspeakers already mounted in the rear doors

• Drill out the rivets (3) on the existing loudspeaker. Use a 6 mm (15/64") drill
• Remove the loudspeaker and any rivet swarf from the rivet hole. Also ensure that any remaining rivet sections from the door are removed.

Installation

• Install the new loudspeaker. Screw the loudspeaker into place using the screws (1) and nuts (1) from the kit
• Install the moisture inhibitor (2)
• Connect the connectors (3) to the loudspeaker and the module for the door controls
• Reinstall the door panel.
