Protective tape

Примечание: When applying the protective tape, the underlay must be kept at a temperature of at least 15°C (59°F).

Примечание: The car must not be taken through a carwash whilst the tape cures (24 hours).

Ensure that hands and tools are clean.

• Open the tailgate.
• Wash the bumper using water and car shampoo. Check that the bumper is smooth and clean.

• Pour 30% windshield washer fluid and 70% water into a clean spray bottle.
• Wet the bumper using the mixture.
• Pull off the protective film from the tape. Spray the rubber side.
• Spray the bumper again.

Примечание: Spray liberally.

• Place the rubber side of the tape against the bumper as illustrated.

• Slowly run the plastic scraper once over the tape from the centre out towards the short sides, and then from the centre and out towards the =onger sides.
• Thoroughly squeeze out all fluid and air bubbles using the scraper. Dry the edges. Pull the scraper over the tape again to secure the tape.

Примечание: Pull the scraper slowly for best results.

• Wipe around the edges using a dry cloth.
