  • Fold the floor carpet on the door side to one side
  • Use the bracket plate to find the best location illustrated by illustration 2A
  • Use a Ø3.5 mm (9/64”) drill bit. Drill through the two larger holes in the (1) bracket plate. Remove any swarf. Rust-proof the edges of the holes
  • Screw the bracket plate loosely in position. Measure where the socket for the passenger compartment heater will be. The existing holes in the bracket plate can be used
  • Remove the bracket plate
  • Use a Ø3.5 mm (9/64”) drill bit. Drill through the two larger mounting holes (2) in the socket for the passenger compartment and through the bracket plate
  • Remove the swarf
  • Screw the bracket plate into place in the drilled holes.

On certain vehicles the panel for the location of the socket for the passenger compartment heater is flat. On these vehicles the socket for the passenger compartment heater can be screwed straight into the panel.

Примечание: Only drill where you can see that there is space between the panels.

Where the panel is not flat use the bracket plate to bridge unevenness. Continue to point 2B.
