- Illustrations D and E display setting the angle of the kayak holders for adjustment to suit the profile of the bottom of the kayaks.
After all adjustments have been made and the mounts are locked in the final position:
- Take the T-groove rubber seals (previously removed) and measure suitable lengths for the sections of the T-groove which are not used by the holder
- Cut the rubber seal to the measured lengths. Reinstall the sections in the T-groove. This prevents wind noise in the T-groove when travelling with oval or wing profile load carriers
Подсказка: Save all the sections of the rubber seals. They can be combined in different ways if the load carriers are used with other mountings or holders.

- A load must be secured properly using a retaining strap or similar. Secure a long load at the front and at the rear. Always remove the load carriers when using a carwash.
Осторожно: Ensure that all the screws, nuts, mounting straps and retaining straps are securely tightened before travelling. Check regularly during the journey. Any damaged straps must be replaced with new straps.
Do not exceed the maximum roof load specified in the car manual.
Note that the centre of gravity and handling of the car are affected by the load
