Paint, pre-treatment
- Rub down (wet and dry 1000).
- Degrease.

- Polyurethane, 2 components
- Coat thickness 10-15 µm
- Evaporation time 10 minutes
- Drying time/temp. 60 minutes max 60°C (140°F)
Preparations

- Remove the front splash guard under the engine compartment.

- Remove screws (A) and clips (B) on the left and right side.

- Clean the complete underside of the bumper very carefully.
- Position the left drilling template on the left bumper side and drill 3x Ø6 mm (15/64”) holes. (Use a 20 mm (50/64”) drill stop.)
- The same procedure applies on the right bumper side, using the right drilling template.

- Locate the eight drill hole markings on the underside of the bumper. They are to be found according to measurements in figure 5A and 5B, (A=60 mm (2 3/8”), B=56 mm (2 3/16”), C=75 mm (2 5/16”), D=110 mm (4 5/16”), E= 175 mm (6 7/8”), F=10 mm (3/8”)).
- Drill 8x Ø7 mm (9/32”) holes at the markings. (Use a 20 mm (50/64”) drill stop.)


- Install the ten clips.
Installing the spoiler

- Clean the surface where the front spoiler will be mounted.
- Postition spoiler (B) and install the bolts, hand-tighten.
- Position spoiler (C) and install the bolts, hand-tighten.
- Press the middle section (A) into the spoiler (B and C).
- Align the front spoiler (A, B, C) to the bumper.
- Tighten all bolts to3 Nm (2 ft.lbf.) .

- Install the screws (A) and clips (B) on the left and right side.

- Carefully position the front splash guard.
- Bend the outer spoiler brackets (A) in position and install the screws and clips.
