Fog lamp protectors (6)

The following points are carried out on both sides of the car

• Clean the lens of the fog lamp. Clean the surfaces around the lens. Wipe dry.

• Press the plastic nut into the clip.

• Secure a piece of butyl tape (or similar self-adhesive material) on the reverse of the plastic nut in the clip.

• Insert the narrower section of the fog lamp protective cover (marked on the top edge) between the bumper cover and the fog lamp as illustrated. Press in the narrow section completely until it is in contact with rubber strip on the fog lamp protector
• Fold the fog lamp protector over the fog lamp.

• Insert the clip and the plastic nut into the gap between the bumper cover and the fog lamp. Ensure that the hook on the clip engages around the edge of the bumper cover
• Fold the fog lamp protector over the fog lamp. At the same time position the clip opposite the hole in the fog lamp protector and press against the lens of the fog lamp.

• Install the screw. Tighten the fog lamp protector.

In order to maintain a good beam of light, regularly remove the fog lamp protectors and clean the fog lamps and the fog lamp protectors.
