• Turn the ignition key to position 0.

Примечание: Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

• Take the adapter cable marked A from the kit and connect the large connector to the receiver.
• Secure the loose connectors with their clips in the holes respectively edges in the bracket.

• Insert the two legs of the bracket in the corresponding recesses in the backrest bracket and lower it over the retaining pin in the floor.

• Tighten the bracket using plastic nuts from the kit.
• Connect the pre-routed wiring for power supply, fibre-optics and the two antenna cables to the receiver. The pre-routed cables are located under the insulation close to the location for the bracket.

• Download software for DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) according to the service information in VIDA.

• Fold up the luggage compartment floor.
• Disconnect it from the mountings at the front edge.
• Pull out the luggage compartment floor and the storage box slightly to access the area behind the backrest.

Applies to cars with subwoofer

• Remove the rear plastic nuts for the subwoofer.
• Fold the backrest forward.

• Disconnect the connectors from the subwoofer.
• Remove the screw from the right-hand mounting.

• Remove the screw from the left-hand mounting.

• Take the adapter cable marked A from the kit and connect the large connector to the receiver.
• Secure the loose connectors with their clips in the holes respectively edges in the bracket.

• Install the DAB unit with bracket on the reverse of the rear backrest.
• Install the screws and tighten to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf.ft.).

• Connect the wiring for the power supply, fibre-optics and the two antenna cables to the receiver. They are located near to the location for the bracket.

Applies to cars with subwoofer

• If the car has a subwoofer a fibre optic adapter cable must be used to connect the units. See step 19.

Applies to cars with subwoofer

• Take the fibre optic adapter cable from the kit and connect the male connector (1) to the fibre optic cable, which was disconnected from the subwoofer, to the female connector (2) on the adapter cable.
• Connect the remaining connectors on the fiber optic cables for the subwoofer and DAB unit.
• Connect the remaining connector that was disconnected from the subwoofer. Ensure that the cables are positioned so that they are not at risk of being cut off.
