Cars with mounting eyelets in the cargo compartment

• The box is preferably positioned on the left side of the cargo compartment. (If a CD player is installed on the left of the cargo compartment, secure the box the same way on the right side.)

• Position the box between the two mounting eyelets.
• Install the longer strap in the front mounting eyelet (1) with the buckle (2) rearwards.
• Press down the mounting plate (3) into the handle opening of the box.
• Install the shorter strap in the rear mounting eyelet (4).
• Press the lock together and tighten the straps. The box is now held firmly in place and correctly secured with the luggage strap.
• Connect the box to the 12V power outlet.
• Check the function.

Cars with a luggage strap in the cargo compartment

• Position the box in the cargo compartment as illustrated in 2A or 2B. (If a CD player is installed on the left of the cargo compartment, secure the box as illustrated in 2B).

• Position the extra strap over the box, lead the luggage strap through the eyes of the extra strap into the locking lug on the left wheel arch or on in the right rear wall.
• To secure the luggage strap: Pull out the luggage strap all the way and let it roll back up. The box is now held firmly in place and correctly secured with the luggage strap.
• Connect the box to the 12V power outlet.
• Check the function.

• Position the box in the cargo compartment as illustrated in 3A or 3B. (If a CD player is installed on the left of the cargo compartment, secure the box as illustrated in3B.)

• Important:Always show the customer how to secure the box by means of the luggage strap in the cargo compartment.
• The box will only receive power during driving or if the ignition key is in position I.
