Installing the cargo rack

• Install the cargo rack on the square section tube on the base unit
• Tighten the cargo rack. Use the two screws, the sprung washers and the flat washers.

Tilting the cargo rack

• Press down the catch (A) to tilt the cargo rack
• Fold the cargo rack (B) downwards until the stop catches engage.

Примечание: The load may fall off when tilting if it is not secured properly.

Tilting the cargo rack back into position

• Lift the catch (A) and fold the cargo rack back into position (B).

• Fold the cargo rack forwards until two clicks are heard and the catch goes up.

Safety checks before travelling

Осторожно: Ensure that all the screws, nuts and retaining straps are securely tightened before travelling. Check these regularly.

Any damaged straps must be replaced with new straps.

The base unit/cargo rack must not be used as a mounting point when towing.

Do not use the base unit/cargo rack when driving off road.

Примечание: If the car registration is covered by the base unit and cargo, an additional registration plate holder with lighting is available as an accessory. It must then be used.

Осторожно: The load must not protrude outside the cargo rack.

Do not exceed the maximum load on the base unit specified on the tow hitch identification plate (MAX TONGUE WEIGHT).

Note that the centre of gravity and handling of the car are affected by the load.

The base unit with accompanying cargo system must not be used to transport animals or people.
