Bicycle holder, roof mounted (1999, 2000)

• Before assembling the bicycle holder:Install the load carriers according to the separate instructions. If there are no set positions for the load carriers, they should be positioned approximately 800 mm (32”) apart.

• Install the bicycle holder on the load carriers.

When the bicycle is not secured, the frame mountings must be in the folded in position and the screw (1) engaged in the holder (2).

• Ensure that the lock is on the correct side for bicycle holders positioned on the left and right-hand sides.

• Ensure that the tension straps are on the correct side for bicycle holders positioned on the left and right-hand sides.

• Squeeze together the frame holder. Tighten the lock handle fully.

Примечание: Always ensure that the lock handle is locked during transit to prevent the bicycle from shaking loose.
- Secure the bicycle with the tensioner strap. Ensure that the bicycle is stable.

Внимание: The bicycle may shake loose if it is insufficiently tightened!

Check that the bicycle is fully tightened.Check again after a short drive.Check again at suitable intervals.Tighten the tensioner straps if necessary.

• Secure the tensioning strap around the bicycle wheel so that it is not rubbing against the car roof.
