Bicycle holder, hitch

• Install the vertical mounting for the bicycle holder in the square section pipe for the tow hitch hook
• Tighten the mounting. Use the two screws, sprung washers and plain washers.

• Press the plastic covering onto the vertical mounting in the position illustrated.

• Install the bicycle holder on the vertical mounting. Use the screws, plain washers and locking nuts
• Tighten the screws and nuts. Tighten the screws and nuts so that the bicycle holder can be tipped in the mounting.

• Remove the striker plate from the cotter pin. Pull out the cotter pin
• Fold up the bicycle holder, insert the cotter pin through the hole and lock using the striker plate.

• Press the two mounting brackets onto the lower mounting of the bicycle holder.

• Install a long screw and spacer sleeve in the mounting brackets. Secure the brackets on the square section pipe for the bicycle holder in the existing rivet nuts. Adjust the lower bicycle mounting to the desired position. Tighten the lower bicycle mounting. Tighten to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf.ft.).

• Always position the heaviest bicycle innermost.

• The holders on the two tubes can be adjusted to suit different bicycles. Position the bicycles so that every other bicycle is turned in the opposite direction.

• Ensure that the strap is secured properly around the bicycle frame.

• Thread the retaining strap through the mounting eyelet on the lower mounting for the bicycle holder
• Insert the retaining strap around a suitable position on the lower section of the bicycle, then though the tensioner. Tighten securely
• Secure any excess retaining strap.

Осторожно: Ensure that all the screws, nuts, mounting straps and retaining straps are securely tightened before travelling using the bicycle holder. Carry out checks regularly during the journey.

• Do not use the bicycle holder when driving off road
• Do not transport more than four bicycles on the bicycle holder at one time
• The bicycle holder must not be used to transport tandem bicycles, tricycles or recumbent bicycles
• Any damaged straps must be replaced with new straps
• An extra number plate holder with lighting must be used if the number plate is obstructed by the loaded bicycle holder. The number plate holder is purchased separately.

When not in use the bicycle holder can be folded down as illustrated.

• Remove the striker plate, pull out the cotter pin and fold down the bicycle holder
• Insert the cotter pin in the hole (1). Lock using the striker plate.
