- Turn the ignition key to position 0.
Illustration A applies to left-hand drive cars

Illustration B applies to right-hand drive cars

- Remove the windscreen wipers.

- Remove the four clips (1) in the panel over the wiper motor
- Turn the two clips (2) 90° towards each other.
Applies to left-hand drive cars
- Remove the panel over the wiper motor on the right-hand side. Pull the panel off the right-hand wiper spindle
- Pull the panel up from the left-hand wiper spindle.
Примечание: The panel is tight on the left-hand side. Pull carefully so that the clips on the bottom and rear edge do not break.
- Carefully remove the panel. First pull the front edge of the panel up. Then pull the panel forwards.
Applies to right-hand drive cars
- Remove the panel over the wiper motor on the left-hand side. Pull the panel off the left-hand wiper spindle
- Pull the panel up from the right-hand wiper spindle.

- Take two nuts from the kit. Install the alarm at the front edge of the windscreen. The alarm must be on the right-hand side in left-hand drive cars and on the left-hand side in right-hand drive cars
- Slide the alarm as far to the side in the groove in the bracket as possible. Slide the alarm to the right in right-hand drive cars and to the left in left-hand drive cars
- Tighten the nuts. Tighten to 10 Nm (7 lbf.ft.)
- Connect the pre-routed connector to the alarm.
- Reinstall the panel over the wiper motor
- Reinstall the windscreen wipers. Set the windscreen wipers to the correct position.

- Remove the five clips (1). Press in the centre of the clips and pull them
- Remove the two screws (2).

- Remove the five screws holding the bumper cover and air baffle at the front edge of the wheel arches, on the left and right-hand sides.

- Carefully grasp the cover for the nozzle for high-pressure cleaning of the headlamps. Pull the cover until the catch is accessible. Carry this out on the left and right-hand sides.

- Press the catches up. Remove the covers. Do not damage the painted surfaces or the high-pressure cleaning nozzles.

- Detach the ends of the bumper cover on the left and right-hand sides. Grasp the end of the bumper cover inside the wing liner. Carefully pull the end of the bumper cover so that the two catches on the inside release
- Remove the bumper cover and air baffle. Pull the bumper cover and air baffle forwards until the remaining catches under the lamps release
- Disconnect the connectors for the fog lamps if applicable.

- Remove the two screws from the intake pipe
- Remove the intake pipe.

- Remove the two screws for the panel over the bonnet catch
- Remove the panel. First pull the rear edge of the panel. Then pull the panel backwards to release it.

- Pull the sleeve of the bonnet release cable and the bonnet release cable from the bonnet catch.

- Remove the screws for the bonnet catch
- Remove the bonnet catch.

- Disconnect the pre-routed connector from park position in the bonnet catch. Press in the catch and pull
- Place the bonnet catch to one side. It will not be reused.

- Tighten the new bonnet catch (from the kit) using the existing screws
- Tighten the screws. Tighten to 24 Nm (18 lbf.ft)
- Connect the connector (1) for the bonnet latch to the pre-routed connector (2)
- Install the bonnet release cable and the sleeve in the new bonnet catch
- Reinstall the panel over the bonnet catch
- Reinstall the intake pipe
- Reinstall the bumper cover. Use the five clips and the two screws at the top
- Connect the connectors for the fog lamps if applicable
- Ensure that the air baffle is correctly positioned in its mounting
- Press the ends of the bumper cover into place on the body. Reinstall the five screws at the front of the wheel arch (on the left and right-hand sides).
- Program the function using VCT2000 in VIDA.
