Applies only to the S60

• Remove the lower grey four-pin connector in the right-hand tail lamp. Push in the catches on the side. Pull the connector out.

Applies to the S80 only

• Remove the lower green four-pin connector in the right-hand tail lamp. Push in the catches on the side. Pull the connector out.

Illustration B applies to the V70 (00-)

• Remove the lower grey six-pin connector in the left-hand tail lamp. Push in the catches on the lower edge. Pull the connector out.

• Connect the connector (1) disconnected from the right (V70 Left) tail lamp to the adapter cable connector (2)
• Connect the adapter cable connector (3) to the right-hand (V70 left) tail lamp.

• Install a cable connector (1) between the red (R) cable from the switch and the red cable from the control module
• Install a cable connector (2) between the pink (P) adapter cable and the remaining red cable from the switch
• Install a cable connector (3) between the black (SB) adapter cable and the black cable from the control module.
